Full Engagement in Building Quality at Yuji

On September 2, 2024, Quanzhou Yuji Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. staged the kickoff ceremony for the Quality Month. Dr. Lu Lu, the deputy general manager of Quanzhou Yuji, was present at the event. Dr. Guo Qin, the assistant general manager and quality director, declared the official commencement of the “Yuji Quality Month”.

 

Quanzhou Yuji has consistently adhered to the quality policy of regarding quality as the fundamental principle for the company’s survival and providing high-quality products and services to customers on an ongoing basis. It has constructed a full-life-cycle quality management system involving all employees, spanning from the supply chain to production, inspection, packaging, transportation, and delivery. With the aim of establishing an executable and internationally leading quality management system, Yuji has obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification. Its comprehensive management system and level have reached international standards, endowing it with outstanding quality to serve world’s top 500 clients.

 

Taking this “Quality Month” as an opportunity, Yuji will promote the “Three No’s” principle within the company: no production of defective products, no acceptance of defective products, and no release of defective products. This will comprehensively heighten employees’ quality consciousness and create a production atmosphere where everyone participates in quality management and maintains unremitting efforts. Through solid actions, Yuji will contribute to the national “quality power country” strategy and pen a new chapter in its high-quality development in the new era.

Quality Learning

 

  1. Share knowledge cards on quality management methods, techniques, and tools in the company group every day in September.
  2. For department heads and workshop directors, organize quality-focused special trainings once a week and conduct written test evaluations.
  3. Each department and workshop conduct a special training on business skills and commend employees with excellent training results.

 

Quality Essay Contest

 

Encourage all employees to actively participate. With the theme of “Quality awareness starts from the heart, and job responsibilities are put into practice”, employees are invited to recount stories of how they ensure quality, hone skills, and demonstrate dedication in their positions. The quality management group will review the essays and select one first prize winner, two second prize winners, and three third prize winners.

 

Quality Workshop

 

With the theme of “The most suitable operation instruction book in your opinion”, a quality management workshop is organized for company employees to engage in “brainstorming”. Participants are encouraged to speak freely and share the functions of useful and effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

6S Management

 

In strict accordance with international 6S standards and rules, Yuji implements 6S management in the entire production area. It establishes and improves the 6S inspection and reward and punishment mechanism to ensure that tools and devices on the site are neatly stored, functional areas are clearly demarcated, pipeline instrument identification is complete, and there is no random stacking.

 

Note: 6S refers to six items: sorting (SEIRI), straightening (SEITON), sweeping (SEISO), cleaning (SEIKETSU), standardizing (SHITSUKE), and safety (SAFETY). Since they all commence with “S”, they are abbreviated as 6S.
